A cold and sunny start to Saturdays events, Ben and family arrived Friday evening as did Matty, full team meeting! Qualifying for both saw Ben and Wayne in 11th and Matty and Wayne in 8th……. different teams to be up against so no pressure to beat each other boys!!

Wayne and Matthew had a DNS for their first race so we had work to do. 8th place in their second race was, at least the finish they needed. Ben and Wayne finished in a disappointing 13th with clutch problem that let the team down and that was more than frustrating as everything was running well. Hence they couldn’t get out in time for the second after Matty and Wayne had pushed hard to finish with the slipping clutch to get the signature on Sundays racing. Really tough mentally for everyone to start off on a sour note again but we will not give up! Round 2 at Mallory Park, 2 races in one day….. busy busy!
